I was known by many other names on the internet. Back when I started even using instant messengers (back in 1999/2000), I’ve always been changing my screen name to something else once every two weeks. Then I started making user names that I kept for longer than a month – and that was when I began using the internet for real, which was back in late 2002, near December.
Here is a simple list of my former screen names and when I used them.
- Late 2002 until Early 2003: SRHAX0R
- I picked this name because I got into hacking Sonic ROMs. Yes, I was a total n00b back then. Let’s just leave it at that.
- Early 2003 – September 12, 2003: Bokomon2003 / DigiAgent729
I stole “Bokomon” from Digimon Frontier, and added ‘2003′ to the end of it. DigiAgent was a term I used in a scrapped Digimon fanfic to refer to the chosen ones. 729 is a reference to the date I bought my digivice, July 29th 2002. - September 12, 2003 – December 25, 2003: Sigma18986
- This name, I chose based on a gag that was going on a forum, where people chose Greek letters as names. 18986 is my birthdate – September 18, 1986.
- December 25, 2003 – Early 2004: DigiAgent02
- I actually used this name back in 2002, but stopped for a while. I used it again since I was sick of the name ‘Sigma’.
- Early 2004 – Mid-October 2004: KitsuneNoKoori / KitsuneNoYuki
- Mid-October 2004 – Current: Samuikon / Samui
Other names I use:
- March 2006: IceKit85/IceKit1985
- Mobile IM, mostly. 1985 is the birth year of my roleplaying character.
- December 2008: icekitsune
- This is the name I use on social networks most of the time, because “Samui” would be taken.
