Samui's Blog » job hunting http://samui.kitsuneparadise.com Wed, 28 Jul 2010 21:05:10 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.0 belated move post 2 http://samui.kitsuneparadise.com/2010/02/belated-move-post-2/ http://samui.kitsuneparadise.com/2010/02/belated-move-post-2/#comments Tue, 09 Feb 2010 02:51:38 +0000 Samui http://samui.kitsuneparadise.com/?p=124 and so, i have moved again. this time i am living in the city of elgin, illinois. i am so happy to see more life here than in bremen. i am also happy to be away from that douchenozzle i previously lived with. oh, and i did file a complaint about the landlord. i do not know the outcome, and i doubt i will, but, i don’t really care about those people anymore. bremen didn’t count. this move will. i still have yet to land me a job, but there are plenty of opportunities. and once i get a lock for the bike, i’ll be able to extend my search range even further. there’s a mall not too far from here, and several shopping centers. there’s likely one place that would be crazy enough to hire me.

on other news, my laptop’s power adapter finally crapped out, so i am stuck using my netbook. at least it performs well enough (now that i took the time to tweak everything to my liking), so i can do what i need to do. i’ve already established my main goals after i actually find work. first i’m going to pay off verizon so i can get my regular phone online again. then i’m going to get a new case and PSU for my main PC (or, at least a new power adapter for my old laptop).
