first, happy belated new year. second, remember the list of resolutions i made last month? i’m doing a good job so far on them. right now i am working on the kitsumuck website, and progress is going smoothly. i’ve found a nice new web-based MUD client that kicks the ass of the crappy Java client that’s been in use for over two years. it’s got lots of neat features, and is in active development. so, i am going to stick to that one from now on.  all i have left to finish is the profiles section, and that should be cake once i get the information imported from the MUCK’s database into the SQL database to make things a lot less hackish. i’m just going to need to make a backend in PHP so the MUCK can update the SQL database through that instead of its SQL functions because apparently, those tend to lock up the MUCK. (wow, that sounded confusing when i read over it)

on other news, i’ve scored myself a 5 day weekend by requesting 3 days paid vacation over the weekend. this would be the third day. monday and tuesday are my normal days off. the main reason i did this was to take a break from .. well, dealing with assholes. i needed to do this so i can relax, and clear my mind…and get some shit done that i’ve been falling behind on.

next up on my list would be my writings. also, what am i going to do for kitsune paradise? hmmm….
